Help your clock start ticking, with ease

The answer is, to thine own self be true. At the end of the day, you will be your best self when you know what you want for your life and create space to be that (at your best). This is not with the intention to hurt others or create chaos; rather it’s to be aligned with who you really are and what makes you tick.

So you may be asking by now, what was the question?

The question is, how can anyone live indefinitely in a compromised state? Doing what the (so called) right thing to do, yet knowing full well it is causing angst along the way in other areas of your life. Living this way long term breeds ill health, whether it be psychological, physical or emotional.

Therefore, one must look at one’s self carefully (stand in front of a mirror and really see yourself). Ask what it is you really need for your life to be in flow. You may be surprised to realize what comes up for you.

How often are you still (or quiet) enough to hear that whisper within, let alone ignore the not-so-subtle screaming sometimes inside you to do something, anything, just not what it is you’re doing. Obviously this is not about testing the boundaries of law, however it will test your own and be a perfect place to start making a change.

What is it you really want your life to be like, see it in your mind (close your eyes if it helps). It’s important to know what it looks like for you to manifest (create) your ideal future. Whether it is about where you live, who you’re with, what your way of earning is and how much (or all of the above and more).

The minute you feel resistance, notice what you notice. This is where you have a learning opportunity to do something different. So what would your next smallest step be to get the ball rolling (so to speak). We all have it in us, sometimes we just need the courage, encouragement and/or support to make it so.

Do consider your options, there is always choice even if it isn’t the most comfortable thing to experience. As the old saying goes, “if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always have what you’ve always had”. Be bold and make a move. Any move, even if it’s not the right choice in the first place (we all make mistakes – consider them learning opportunities).

Be kind to yourself and others in every way possible, removing yourself from that which is not good for you (if necessary). For your highest good, and the highest good of others. If not immediately, then eventually. Others may make it difficult, as it impacts on them but be strong and true to yourself and forge forward.

Your values, needs, standards, beliefs and so on, have so much to do with what makes you tick. Like a clock not working or having stopped completely, it’s time for repair work to be done. In your case if any of this resonates with you, seek out the help of someone you trust or a skilled coach who can help your tock start ticking well again for your well-being.
